Allison and Jackson met in the Fall of 2011, when both were beginning their freshman year of college in San Antonio. A small, unique crew, including Allison and Jackson, moved on to Austin in 2012, and maintained the circle of friends, all of which still hold a close place in their lives today. 

While in Austin, Allison and Jackson ventured on their own respective paths of life, both meeting new people, and growing up as young adults in the best city in the world. Eventually, Allison moved to San Antonio to complete her J.D., and Jackson began working in Austin. Allison began her new journey, but Jackson remained a constant, close confidant, one evening even texting Allison, inquiring as to when they would be getting married, to which Allison just laughed.

Fast forward 4 years later, Allison and Jackson were both living in downtown Austin, and were forced to bunker down together amidst the 2021 Snow-Pocalypse (shout out ERCOT's failing power grid). It was during this mayhem that Allison realized how much Jackson's kind heart meant to her.

As such, in Summer 2021, while boating on Lake Travis, Allison presented Jackson with the crazy idea that the two get together. Jackson countered with an equally crazy offer: that the two go on a formal date together... and the rest is history.
